This short course runs 4 hours, including one coffee break of 15 minutes duration. We will deal with the VAT Act and exporting, when the SA vendor must zero rate and when they must standard rate, and crucially the delegate is taken through the common questions and variables on a step-by step basis to cover all aspects of the Incentive Scheme and the Interpretation Note. We will also look at when the vendor may raise their invoices in foreign currencies and when they may not. Importantly, the requirements for documentary compliance are covered in detail. Also dealing with the new Exchange Regulations in effect from July 2009 1. Customs Client Number “CCN” - designated to the exporter by customs. 2. Unique Consignment Reference "UCR" - provided to customs by the exporter These reference numbers form part of a Single Administration Document "SAD 500" which is provided to customs at the time of shipment. In the past it was not compulsory to provide this information (except selected exporters who participated in the SARB Export pilot project), This course is for everyone involved in exports. Again, we thank you for the interest shown in our services and we look forward to seeing you at the course. LISTEN to a 5 minute overview by clicking here
